Achla’s Biotope

The beach of Achla, located in the homonymous region in northeastern coast of Andros, has fine white sand and pebbles, while trees provide shade and make it ideal for a relaxing break. Here is the church of St. Nicholas and a lighthouse.

Moreover, on the beach of Achla, you will find a small but impressive biotope. Several trees attached to the sea, near the small creek that ends at the beach, composing a unique landscape .
Tropical vegetation, huge trunks of sycamore trees, water forming small waterfalls and small vathres are some of the elements you will come across in this hidden paradise on earth, on the beach of Achla.
